Tessa Thompson is making a whopper of a confession: she’s never once eaten a hamburger.
Ever.
The “Creed” actress spoke about her diet with English TV presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg, revealing, “I’ve never had a hamburger in my life.”

To make matters even more preposterous, Tessa made it clear that she’s not a vegetarian, so the burger shunning isn’t due to her lifestyle.
“I eat other things,” she elaborated. “I’ve just never had a hamburger. … It’s the only thing extraordinary that I can still claim.”
Tessa then followed up her juicy burger admission by noting that she only recently tried an egg for the first time at the age of 39.
“I had an egg recently, and I’d had never had one of those,” she said. “I don’t think they’re great.”
Tessa’s issue with eggs, she said, is that they’re too versatile.
“That’s the problem with them. It’s like, pick a lane,” Tessa said, later admitting that she “loves” potatoes, another famously versatile food.

The actress has been full of stunning claims lately. In a recent chat with Refinery29, she said she and “Creed” costar Michael B. Jordan went to the therapy together in character.
“The line sometimes between character and us get blurred because we bring so much of what we’re exploring personally to the characters in general,” she said. “I’ll say it was an early experience in couples therapy for us both [personally], but it was as these characters, which is very weird.”
Tessa continued, “But I think it reminded us of our own personal lives that going to therapy, even when a relationship is good, can be a good thing if you’re trying to just sharpen communication and figure out how someone works. It’s useful in so many relationships.”
